Centennial College | Exhibit Spotlight
Over the past 55 years, Centennial College has transformed itself from a local community college to a worldly institution, with a presence in countries such as China, India, South Korea, and Brazil.
Centennial College’s focus has always been on preparing graduates to enter the workforce while teaching students to be leaders. The college has worked hard to build lasting partnerships with local communities while preparing graduates to succeed globally—a commitment that has led to its #1 ranking in the Greater Toronto Area for graduate satisfaction.
Locally, Centennial College continues to offer industry-recognized full- and part-time programs at five Toronto campuses. Whether in classrooms, labs, or the community, Centennial students experience the real world before they even graduate. They become job-ready, and that is a fact employers confirm, as more than 88 percent of those who have employed Centennial grads are satisfied or very satisfied with their hires.
As a leader in internationalization, Centennial College has done extensive work teaching international students. At the same time, the college enables more Canadian learners to have international adventures, whether completing a semester in Spain, an internship in South Africa, or a Global Citizenship learning experience in the Amazon Basin.
Centennial College believes a Centennial education is an education without borders. The institution has re-created itself, giving itself a unique position in the marketplace and the world. It now stands prepared for the next set of challenges: to be more innovative and entrepreneurial, to further exploit the benefits of technology, to creatively engage its employees, to build more bridges with communities and employers, and to see its graduates do meaningful work and have meaningful lives
